Ottawa- Mark Strahl, MP for Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon announced today that applications are now being accepted for the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program.
The program will invest $150 million over two years to support projects that rehabilitate existing community facilities across Canada in celebration of the 150th anniversary of confederation.
Ottawa- Mark Strahl, MP for Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon highlighted today the announcement that two new national monuments will be created in Ottawa to pay tribute to Canada's Afghanistan mission and to Victoria Cross recipients.
"These new monuments will be a permanent tribute to the extraordinary actions of men and women who put their lives in jeopardy so that we might be safe, secure and free," said Strahl.
Ottawa- On behalf of the Honourable Pierre Poilievre, Minister of Employment and Social Development, Mark Strahl MP for Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon announced Canada Summer Jobs funding of $313,405 to create 74 summer jobs for local area youth.
"Through Canada Summer Jobs, students develop skills and gain valuable real life experience to prepare them for the workforce benefiting not only the students but local employers and the economy as well," said Strahl.
