Canadian Armed Forces Participate in 'Bell Let's Talk' Day Through a Panel Discussion on Mental Health
OTTAWA - The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) conducted a panel discussion on mental health in support of Bell Let's Talk's campaign against stigma surrounding mental illness today.
"Following direction from General Tom Lawson, Chief of the Defence Staff, to conduct an administrative investigation into irregularities in administrative procedures concerning Master Corporal (Ret'd) Raymond's file, I am convening a military Board of Inquiry (BOI) to be led by Col D.A. MacIsaac as the president.
"With over a million people displaced internally, and another 400,000 having taken refuge in other countries, the humanitarian situation in South Sudan remains dire. Notwithstanding repeated commitments by both sides to respect the cessation of hostilities agreement, there are continuing reports of clashes between government and opposition troops in Unity and Upper Nile states.
