Chilliwack, B.C – Volunteer streamkeepers across British Columbia and the Yukon who protect and restore salmon habitat can now apply for funding through the Pacific Salmon Foundation's Community Salmon Program, announced Chilliwack-Hope MP Mark Strahl.

Last night was a bittersweet night for me. Sweet, because after 4 and a half years in office, and after 11 weeks of hard work on the campaign trail, we won this riding and kept it Conservative in the face of a national Liberal electoral tsunami. Bitter, because we lost a number of good Conservative MPs and the government after Canadians decided that they wanted a change.
