Ottawa- Students at a number of local schools will have new digital learning opportunities thanks to the Computers for Schools Program announced by Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP Mark Strahl.
"The Computer for Schools Program will give students access to digital learning they might not otherwise have helping prepare them for the jobs and opportunities of the future," said Strahl.
Ottawa- The Conservative Government has announced it will invest over $250 million over the next five years securing ecologically sensitive lands, supporting voluntary conservation and restoration actions and strengthening marine and coastal conservation under a new National Conservation Plan.

Ottawa- Mark Strahl, MP for Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon is encouraging local organizations to apply for funding under the New Horizon for Seniors Program (NHSP).
"Seniors have a lot to offer. Through the New Horizon for Seniors Program seniors are encouraged to get involved in their local community and share their knowledge, skills and experiences," said Strahl.
Ottawa- On behalf of the Minister of State for Social Development, the Honourable Candice Bergen Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP Mark Strahl announced $316,523 in Canada Summer Jobs Funds to support the hiring of 70 students in Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon.
Since I was elected in 2011, I've had the privilege of serving on a number of Parliamentary Standing Committees, which are permanent committees struck by the House of Commons to study and consider issues relating to a particular government department. One of the most interesting committees I was assigned to was the National Defence Committee.
