Ottawa- Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP, Mark Strahl hailed today’s announcement that Canada had reached an agreement in principle on a Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with the European Union (EU).
“This is great news for workers and families in Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon. Increased trade will allow businesses to hire more workers and provide consumers with greater choices and lower prices,” said Strahl.

Chilliwack –On behalf of the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP Mark Strahl today announced that, through the newly established Recreational Fisheries Conservation Partnerships Program, the Government of Canada is partnering with Ducks Unlimited and the Pacific Salmon Foundation to fund a number of local fish habitat conservation projects.
