SNC-Lavalin Scandal

The Clerk of the Privy Council confirmed today that months after former Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould had made it clear that she would not interfere in an ongoing court proceeding involving SNC-Lavalin, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau refused to accept that decision and continued to pressure her to change her mind.

The Director of Public Prosecutions had made a decision. The former Attorney General had made a decision. Why did Prime Minister Justin Trudeau then make the decision to try to obstruct justice in an ongoing legal proceeding?
